Your area of work:
Join LuxCSD Business Operations & Services team, where you will play a key role in driving business development and product sales, contributing to the implementation of our strategic roadmap for post-trading services, monitoring BAU activities, supporting our external business partners, and participating in strategic projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Focus on sales activities of LuxCSD; support the marketing and sales activities by market and product research. Research and analysis of business cases (documentation, cost assessment, revenue assessment). Align with internal and external subject matter experts and ensure coordination with the different operational departments of LuxCSD.
- Support the business development efforts in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the post-trade industry, focusing on strategic partnerships and market expansion.
- Maintain and enhance relationship with LuxCSD principal agents (LPAs). Follow up with LPAs on sales activities and business cases as described above.
- Presentation of LuxCSD services in meetings with clients, issuers, agents and law offices.
- Support preparation and coordination of regulatory reporting and reporting to management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, operations, legal) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform research and assess the root cause of CSD operational issues escalated by Clearstream or regulators.
- Contribute to industry questionnaires and regulatory reporting requirements, such as ECSDA and CSDR.
- Participate in strategic projects related to the development and enhancement of LuxCSD services.
- Follow up on internal procedures and process flows of the LuxCSD Service team and update documentation.
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development or relationship management within the post-trade industry, with a proven track record of success in generating new business and exceeding sales targets. Experience working with Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, securities services, and post-trade operations, including settlement, corporate actions, and new issuance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; French and German are highly desirable.
