Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and support business processes in fund distribution and execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage, structure, and optimize fund-related data.
Apply project management methodologies for the effective delivery of initiatives.
Contribute to product vision and help shape functional and technical requirements in collaboration with IT and development teams.
Work closely with developers to enhance and improve web-based applications, ensuring scalability, usability, and performance.
Apply Java expertise to review technical feasibility, understand architecture constraints, and propose improvements.
Interpret and work with SWIFT messages (MT & MX formats).
Use SQL, XML, Jira for data queries, reporting, and task tracking.
Serve as a bridge between business and IT, translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in the fund industry (distribution, execution, fund data).
Strong understanding of web development concepts; hands-on Java experience is a plus.
Familiarity with SWIFT messages (MT/MX).
Proficiency in SQL, XML, and experience with Jira.
Experience working closely with Product Owners or in agile teams.
Strong communication skills in French and English.
Ability to operate in an international, fast-paced environment and liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the fund industry (distribution, execution, fund data management).
Practical understanding of web development concepts; Java experience is a strong plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear technical specifications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English; able to liaise between business and technical teams
