TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibilities of the Composite Repair Shop Technician is to repair, overhaul, and modify composite components in the shop and on the aircraft. Some of the tasks include:
- Accomplish composite repairs using wet-lay-up, hot-bonding and metal-to-metal bonding processes.
- Coordinate the ongoing tasks with other team members.
- Assist in creating tools and fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs.
- Operate shop tooling and equipment according to the approval and training received.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- At least a technical diploma as industrial mechanic (CATP/ DAP or equivalent)
- At least five years experience in composite repairs, preferably in aviation
- Good understanding of drawings, manuals and composite repair methods
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable to work at height
- Good computer knowledge in the MS Office programms
- Fluent in written and spoken English
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time position, based in Luxembourg
- Shift work as per the shop working schedule (two-shift-schedule)
- Regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
- Occasional travel may be required and remunerated in accordance with our Collective Work Agreement
