Our Data Protection Team plays an important role in ensuring high quality standards, protecting Deloitte’s reputation and managing the risks associated with the Firm activities. As Legal Counsel in Data Protection Law, you will assist the business teams in advising on GDPR impacts and risks, negotiating contracts and also help in ensuring Deloitte Luxembourg’s activities complies with GDPR requirements.
Your next challenge
- Maintain the register of personal data processing in close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
- Assess GDPR compliance of key internal projects of the Firms
- Review and negotiate data protection agreement
- Contribute to the deployment and improvement of the retention framework of the Firm
- Prepare internal documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
- Draft structured and argued notes on GDPR matters and suggest solutions to support Firm’s activities
- Advise the DPO and management of Deloitte Luxembourg on data protection compliance and risks
- Be involved in the assessment and management of data subject requests
- Be involved in GDPR trainings to business teams and internal stakeholders
- Contribute in your day-to-day activities to disseminate a culture of personal data protection
Your skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data protection law (national data protection law andpractices including in depth understanding of GDPR)
- Sounds knowledge in the following areas: IT, information security, business process, riskmanagement
- Hands-on, result and solution oriented, pragmatic-thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to bridge the gap between technical and businesslanguages
- CIPP/E
- Fluent in English. French or German is considered as an asset
