Compliance Expert - Compliance & AML (m/w/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Expert to join our team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to implement effective compliance programs.


Key Responsibilities:

Compliance / Anti-Money Laundering

Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
Implement and ensure adherence to regulations (e.g. Circular CSSF 12/552, Directive (EU) 2018/843).
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of controls.
Conduct regular audits and support compliance and AML risk assessments.
Execute AML/KYC reviews.
Handle sophisticated KYC matters, e.g. assess complex legal ownership structures
Process FATCA/ CRS onboarding and reporting documentation.
Ensure product compliance and ensure products meet regulatory standards and AML requirements.
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the company’s compliance with new regulations.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage compliance reporting.
Business ownership for compliance related service provider.
Support daily transaction and ongoing customer outines.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Luxembourg’s regulatory environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
