Job Description
Position: Credit Management Officer/Manager
Department: Credit Management and Special Assets Resolution Department
Job purpose:
As a team member of Credit Management and Special Assets Resolution Department to assist overall credit management operation including carrying out implementing administrative work relates to credit management and non-performing loan management etc. Work closely with the business department and respective support department (Legal, Finance and Internal Audit etc.)
Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:
- Responsible for completing monthly or quarterly regulatory report submissions;
- Carry out asset quality monitoring and management work in dimensions such as customers, regions, and products, and analyze and report on asset quality status, draft material risk report;
- Support for credit customer risk identification and classification management, and collaborate with relevant business departments, lines and cross border institution to carry out monitoring and management work based on risk status;
- Prepare detailed risk reports for management regulators, and internal committees and support the team to prepare analysis report;
- Responsible for credit risk management information system improvement application, information management and data statistics, aggregation, reporting, and big data application related work;
- Carry out relevant work on country risk management;
- Assists on financial asset impairment management, ECL movement monitoring and forecasting and coordinating with business lines;
- Make efforts in risk data governance, improves data quality standards, and promotes compliance with effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting;
- Assists the credit asset inventory review work, including risk indicators calculation and data analysis, information collection from the business lines, enhanced management client’s identification and report, meeting arrangements;
- Supports the credit concentration risk management, including the report of portfolio management scheme implementation, KRIs monitoring for both industry concentration and single/group client concentration, and large exposure monitoring;
- Update, summary and report the overdue non-performing loan to management.
Qualifications
Profile (Technical Skills):
- University level education Master Degree in Finance, Management Accounting & Information System, Mathematics or Business Finance, Related Studies
- Sound knowledge of risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and banking products and services
- Related development tools and skills such as: Python/Java/Sql/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MS SQL/Pandas/Django/ODOO/JSP
- Good knowledge of a programming language is a significant plus (Python, SQL etc)
- Experience in synthesis of large amounts of data and written information
- Solid analytical and technical skills
- Excellent English Chinese verbal and written communications skills
