The Banking and Payment Officer is responsible for managing and processing all payment transactions that support the fund administration services team. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and providing excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify payment transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth payment operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding payment processing.
- Accurately process outgoing payments, ensuring all transactions are prepared in the company’s financial payment tool.
- Prepare bank payments in various banking platforms and ensure the necessary supporting documents (including KYC documents) are obtained and attached for an efficient review process.
- Coordinate with the authorised signatories to ensure the successful approval of the packs.
- Ensure all invoices are recorded, coded and uploaded in the company financial tool.
- Assist in liaising with clients on invoice recommendations.
- Assist in liaising with clients on any payment queries and confirm completion of the process.
- Maintain signatories lists of the bank accounts and ensure they are up to date.
- Assist in the administration of online banking platforms to include setting up users and access rights/access permissions in line with the company’s policies.

Coordinate the Bank opening process and act as the liaison between the administration teams, the onboarding team the different banks.

Fluent in English (knowledge of French and German is an advantage).
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business studies, economics or similar.
- Previous experience in Back-office, payment process, accounting, or a related field is a strong asset.
