About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our Information Risk Management (IRM) hybrid team of auditors and advisors, offering you new challenges. Seize the opportunity to increase your skills, grow and develop yourself.
KPMG's Information Risk Management Team is a hybrid team of auditors and advisors who focus on the use of technology by our clients and help the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence in navigating the relevant ICT and security risk and compliance matters in a strategic and tactical manner. Our professionals do this by leveraging our strong industry, IT control and technology focus and experience; deploying leading methodologies and tools; applying our objectivity; using a balanced approach to growth and risk; utilising our comprehensive global breadth and local knowledge; and calling upon our deep understanding of relevant business, financial, and regulatory interdependencies.
What you will be working on
- You will assist our clients by providing in-depth technical and business expertise with state-of-the-art technology mainly in the Financial Sector
- You will get involved in Audit and Advisory projects within a multicultural environment from reviews of technology and security processes and controls as part of audits through to project-based assistance in the fields of IT and security risk management and IT regulatory affairs
- You will put into practice a multidisciplinary approach in relation to environmental controls and IT risks
- You will acquire relevant technical and methodological expertise
- Generate innovative ideas that are strategically sound and progressive; foster creativity on engagements
- Participate in team management and proactively invest in staff development and coaching
What we look for
- You hold a university degree in Engineering, Sciences or IT with a strong interest in the Financial Sector, or in Law/Finance with specialisation in IT
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French and/or German languages are nice to have
- You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience
- You have successfully passed the CISA, CISM or CISSP exam or you are willing to pursue relevant training programmes and certifications
- You are fully committed to supervising junior colleagues and supporting the growth of our team
- You have a strong client orientation, are a real team player and have high motivation
Technical interests and knowledge:
- Common enterprise software (e.g. SAP, Dynamics, core banking software, etc.)
- Operating systems and databases (e.g. Windows, Linux, MS SQL, etc.)
- IT technical knowledge (e.g. network and systems administration, scripting and programming, etc.)
- General data governance and reporting related regulations principles (e.g. ICT and Cybersecurity risk management, IT outsourcing, Cloud Computing, etc.)
- Knowledge of banking or asset management application systems (desirable)
- Knowledge of regulations regarding IT matters (desirable)
