Agent OHS

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cargolux is looking for a dedicated professional to join our Occupational Health and Safety department. You will work closely with various teams to promote a culture of safety and well-being throughout the organization. Task Responsibilities:

• Assist in the organization of medical checks and vaccinations, including data input into the OHS-specific software and follow-up of all required outcomes of those medical checks in liaison with our company doctor.
• Enhance OHS effectiveness by assisting in the organization of dedicated OHS events, handling OHS communication, or conducting awareness campaigns.
• Under the supervision of the department manager, develop the ISO 45001 system by creating or updating procedures and publishing them on the company intranet.
• Input all required safety data sheets (SDS) into OHS software.
• Ensure that the OHS mailbox is up to date, that deadlines are being met, and, if necessary, inform the relevant person/department accordingly.
• Coordinate and participate in safety audits or internal inspections.
• Research and collect information concerning OHS legislation.
• Input accident data to enable meaningful trend analysis and prepare monthly OHS reports

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a similar position or in administration could be considered an advantage.
• Possession of a Luxembourgish diploma of “designated worker” is considered an advantage.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work aligned with organizational goals.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential data.
• Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people, anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working in a team as well as autonomously.
• Customer and result-oriented.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, French, German, and Luxembourgish; other languages are a distinct advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Microsoft SharePoint experience is a distinct advantage.
• General IT literacy.
• Valid Driving License Cat B.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Position based in Luxembourg, full-time position.
• Temporary contract of 24 months.
• Flexibility with working hours is expected, in accordance with our collective work agreement.
• A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
