Business Analyst ( m/f/d)
The Business Analyst facilitates business changes and drives continuous process and operational improvements. He/she participates, reviews and contributes to the design and testing of new solutions and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Your Role
As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- System analysis to understand current processes, business rules and system behaviours with aim to propose solutions that can address business requirements and issues.
- Create user stories based on business requirements, provide explanations and expertise regarding as-is-to-be models, participate in development of test plan, testing and implementation of change.
- Facilitate communication and identify blockers producing workable solutions that resolve issues and meet the immediate demands of the situation.
- Maintain appropriate levels of functional and technical expertise, become an SME in one or multiple business/technical domains.
- Prepare, execute and analyse KPI reports. Run KPI reports, reconciliations, and controls as needed by the business.
- Flexible with work assignments with ability to manage priorities under tight timelines.
Your skills and experience
- A university degree (bachelor level) or a higher professional education.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis or similar, highly desirable within the Insurance industry.
- Solid understanding of Insurance.
- Fluent in English is mandatory, any other language will be an asset
- IT literate, experience with working on systems and with integrated applications, knowledge of delivery pipelines.
- Ability to implement change, identifying areas of improvement and mitigating risk of errors due to inefficient processes.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, interpret and ‘produce’ data.
- Capable to work at own initiative and within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, maintaining focus on the bigger picture in delivery.
- A team player, willing to nurture and develop business relationships.
