INTRODUCTION:
EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Learning Centre (EUROCONTROL ALC), based in Luxembourg, is primarily concerned with providing operational, technical and managerial training to Air Traffic Management (ATM) staff in the EUROCONTROL Member States. These activities include the development and delivery of classroom, virtual and e-learning courses as well as webinars and workshops.
The EUROCONTROL Aviation Learning Centre is seeking time based support for its training activities. The work consists in:
- General administrative support: help with day to day administrative task of the centre (e.g. online purchases, entering a purchase requisition, mission requests, document management, meeting planning);
- Student technical support: solve first level requests (e.g. login problems, request for generic information) or dispatch messages to relevant people;
- Instructor support: support of Instructors in the training delivery and development process (e.g. coordination, review and update of course information, attendance tracking and up course reports);
- Contract coordination: process customer requests for services and coordinate with internal services to ensure a smooth service delivery;
To support the delivery of its training activities, EUROCONTROL ALC is using a wide series of tools. Amongst other:
- Learning Zone: ALC Learning Management System (LMS). Learning Zone is the main portal used by students to register on courses, access information, take exams. It is also used as back-end training management platform to coordinate the maintenance of course information, the delivery of courses and the collection of information along the process.
- Training Material Management System (TMMS): TMMS is a Share Point site to manage course material. This include presentations, timetables but also cover course reports and other associated course documentation processes.
- ALC Team and channels: a teams in the Microsoft Teams environment. This teams and its subsequent channels are used to share information, documents and structure projects associated with ALC activities
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Mandatory: University Degree of at least 3 years and one year of relevant professional experience.
2. Mandatory: The candidate shall be able to communicate in English. This shall be supported by English language certification, relevant education or experience equivalent to C1 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
3. Desirable: The candidate should be able to communicate in French. This shall be supported by language certification, relevant education or experience equivalent to A2 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Mandatory Requirements
1. The candidate shall have at least two years of experience with the use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite including collaborative applications (e.g. Teams, SharePoint). This shall be supported by describing the relevant professional activities.
2. The candidate shall have at least two years of experience supporting customers (internal or external) using structured communication approach (e.g. using emails, organising meetings when needed). This shall be supported by describing the relevant professional activities.
3. The candidate shall have at least two years of experience providing administrative support (e.g. entering purchase request, mission planning, purchase, meeting planning). This shall be supported by describing the relevant professional activities.
Desirable requirements
1. The candidate should have at least one year of experience with course administration on a Learning Management System. This shall be supported by describing the relevant professional activities.
2. The candidate should have at least one year of experience working in an ISO 9001 managed organisation. This shall be supported by describing the relevant professional activities.
3. The candidate should have at least one year of experience working in an educational environment. This shall be supported by the description of the courses delivered and the pedagogical approaches taken.
4. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in developing support documentation (e.g. PDF guidelines, tutorial video, software contextual support). This shall be supported by the description of documentation produced and the relevant activities.
