Position Overview:
As the Strategic Sales Director for Europe, you will lead the development and strengthening of relationships with the world's largest asset managers and the consultant/advisory community. This role is crucial for showcasing Apex Group’s (Fundrock) capabilities in technology and innovation within the financial sector. You will be responsible for curating and leading content-driven events, demonstrating thought leadership, and aligning sales strategies with our comprehensive service offerings across the financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Development: Forge and maintain strategic relationships with top-tier asset managers and influential figures within the financial sector to promote Fundrock’s services.
Consultant and Advisory Engagement: Actively engage with consultants and advisors to ensure they are well-informed of Fundrock's capabilities and can confidently recommend our services to large asset managers.
Content Leadership: Lead the creation and curation of impactful content, including hosting webinars, seminars, and roundtable discussions that highlight Fundrock’s innovation and expertise in tech and financial services.
Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies that attract and retain prestigious clients, enhancing Fundrock’s market presence and reputation in the financial industry.
Collaborative Initiatives: Work closely with marketing and other departments to create demand-led marketing strategies that align with business goals and client needs.
Performance and Metrics: Monitor market trends and team performance to refine strategies and achieve sales targets. Ensure meticulous record-keeping of sales activities within our CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
Requirements:
Professional Experience: Minimum 8 years of direct sales experience within the financial services industry, preferably focused on alternative investment management.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Strategic Networking: Strong existing network within the financial services industry, capable of leveraging relationships to advance business objectives.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record in managing end-to-end sales processes and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of alternative investment strategies and the ability to articulate complex solutions effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging sophisticated audiences and stakeholders.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively as required by the role.
