Procurement Manager
based in Hamm
Your role:
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to spearhead the design and implementation of our procurement function. This is a greenfield opportunity to build a team, shape processes, implement tools and define procurement strategy in a dynamic legal services environment.
- Design and implement a detailed roadmap to establish end-to-end procurement processes;
- Collaborate with legal, finance, risk and social responsibility departments to align procurement with firm objectives;
- Implement procurement systems and analytics tools to monitor spend and performance;
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards in all purchasing activities
- Develop sourcing strategies with a primary focus on IT (hardware, software, support) and Facilities (maintenance, utilities);
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiation processes to ensure value and compliance;
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management
Your profile:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, ideally with exposure to professional services or law firms;
- Strong background in sourcing IT and Facilities services or infrastructure;
- Fluency in English and French;
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and strategic planning skills;
- Experience in setting up procurement structures from scratch is highly valued;
- Experience in team management;
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
