a Junior Banking & Finance Lawyer
YOUR ROLE
- Representing financial institutions, corporates, and funds in financing transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, fund finance, and general banking matters;
- Representing financial institutions, corporates, and funds in securitisation, structured products and repackaging;
- Be involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts and legal documents across transactional and advisory work, including bank lending, leveraged finance, real estate and fund financings, green and sustainable finance, and structured finance;
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex legal issues related to banking and finance transactions;
- Work closely with colleagues across the firm to support deals and projects, including assisting with structuring, negotiating, and closing finance transactions;
- Provide support to senior lawyers on client matters and contributing to the delivery of high-quality work;
- Develop professional relationships with clients and colleagues, with a focus on building knowledge and experience in banking and finance law.
YOUR PROFILE
- Graduate from university in Law;
- 1-3 years’ experience in Banking & Finance Law, ideally in a Luxembourg law firm;
- Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar;
- Fluent in English and French; German is an asset;
- Strong analytical and synthetic skills, ability to provide practical guidance on complex topics;
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to providing practical and effective advice.
