We are looking for a junior accountant with existing experience in Luxembourg seeking a challenge to join our growing team in the Luxembourg entity, MourantGS Services (Luxembourg) S.à r.l. The position is available immediately.Key Responsibilities
About the role- Handle the day-to-day administration, bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements for various Luxembourg SPVs and funds;
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings;
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports;
- Liaison and interaction with clients, client advisors, investors, auditors (dealing with audit queries) and any other third parties;
- Assisting in the organization of board meetings and shareholders’ meetings;
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT & Tax returns;
- Assistance in the preparation of consolidated accounts (where required);
- Assisting with administrative tasks (scanning/filing), account openings, bank instructions;
- Undertake any project work as required, undertaking initiatives identified and designated from time to time by your direct Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
About you – requirements- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit or Economics (fresh graduated or maximum 2 years of experience);
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset);
- Have good knowledge on MS Office tools;
- BOB50 knowledge would be a strong asset;
- Ability to interact effectively (oral and written) with contacts both within and outside the company at all seniority levels;
- You possess team spirit, have ability to interact effectively (oral and written) with others and prioritisation skills.
