What it's about
- Responsible for general accounting functions for several group companies including fixed assets, accounts payable and operational expenses
- Month and quarter-end closing and group reporting process (in accordance with IFRS) including closing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Year-end audit process including preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP
- Prepare monthly VAT filing
- Assist in the annual budgeting process
- Identify areas within the accounting process for potential improvements
- Take responsibility in finance and accounting projects as assigned by local management
What we expect
- The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant financial accounting experience and holds a bachelor's degree in the area of accountancy or finance.
- For this challenging position, we are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual with good analytical skills and ability to pay excellent attention to detail and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Furthermore, you have an accurate, diligent and independent working style and a strong desire to learn and succeed. English language skills are required, Italian and/or French is a plus.
- MS-Office knowledge and experience with one or more ERP systems is a requirement. Experience in a global environment and / or auditing would be a plus.
