About the Role
For one of our prestigious clients in Luxembourg, we're in the search for an experienced Java DevOps Engineer. You will be joining a high-performing team involved in a large-scale transformation initiative within the supply chain ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned backend developer with a DevOps mindset, who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working on mission-critical systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services and APIs.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and similar.
- Ensure seamless deployments, environment consistency, and system scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration, optimization, and system updates.
- Monitor production environments, diagnose issues, and deliver solutions to maintain high performance and uptime.
- Contribute to process automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
Requirements
Your Profile
✅ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
✅ Proficient with DevOps tools and practices: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven/Gradle.
✅ Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring.
✅ Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing systems is a major asset.
✅ Previous exposure to the transportation sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
✅ Excellent communication skills and a proactive team attitude.
✅ Work permit or EU citizenship preferred due to project urgency.
