We are currently looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Platform Engineer / DevOps Specialist to design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD infrastructure and platform services within a high-impact digital transformation environment.
You will be part of a DevSecOps Centre of Excellence, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support both foundation platform services and critical digital projects.
Your Role
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the evolution of modern software delivery practices:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices with Terraform for automated, consistent infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and system administrators to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
- Drive innovation in automation, developer tooling, and environment orchestration.
- Improve developer experience and operational efficiency through reusable tooling and process optimization.
Your Expertise
We’re seeking a candidate with strong practical experience in modern DevOps tools and workflows. You should be technically autonomous, quality-oriented, and collaborative.
Here’s what we expect:
- CI/CD with GitLab: Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and optimizing pipelines, repositories, and GitLab integrations.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Expert-level experience (5+ years) with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Cloud Platforms: Solid hands-on experience (3+ years) with AWS or Azure services.
- Terraform: Deep expertise (5+ years) in Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, including module creation and environment provisioning.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet (minimum 2 years).
What You Bring
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent (EQF Level 7) in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: A strong background in platform engineering or DevOps, with emphasis on Linux-based systems and secure deployments.
- Certifications: At least one relevant DevOps certification is required (e.g., Certified DevSecOps Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer, Microsoft DevOps Expert, or equivalent).
- Communication: Clear communication in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialists.
