Our IT team is looking for a new talent, starting at the earliest possible time as IT System & Cyber Security Administrator (m/f/d) in Hosingen, Luxembourg.
How you’ll add value
We are looking for an IT System & Cyber Security Administrator (m/f/d), who is responsible for implementing and overseeing the information and cybersecurity strategy and policies, while also actively supporting the IT operations team by handling and resolving IT operational tickets on a daily basis. This role plays a key part in improving and communicating the maturity levels of information security, the state of cybersecurity, and IT risk practices.
What you’ll do
- Support and implement information security policy within the strategic goals of the organization, translating it into actionable security standards and practices.
- Actively manage and resolve IT operational tickets daily, ensuring timely support and issue resolution across the organization.
- Actively support the IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to triage, escalate, and follow up on operational IT issues.
- Support and coordinate vulnerability and penetration tests with third parties, including follow-up actions.
- Recommend security enhancements and best practices to management.
- Assist the compliance officer in ensuring IT compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuously develop, implement, and review security and privacy policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001.
- Recommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas to maintain compliance.
- Support audit and IT security compliance activities as an auditee.
- Draft and propose disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Monitor networks, applications, and cybersecurity systems (e.g., firewalls, proxies, VPNs) for irregular activity and breaches.
- Manage user access and identity controls for both standard and privileged users.
- Investigate and manage IT security incidents.
- Establish and support SOC/SIEM operations.
- Assist in reporting and following up on cybersecurity incidents.
- Stay current with evolving cyber threats and update incident response plans accordingly.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for internal stakeholders.
- Provide cybersecurity support to business lines.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of relevant IT security experience in domains such as security architecture, security tools, risk management and/or information security management.
- Solid knowledge of widely adopted information security management frameworks, particularly ISO/IEC 27001.
- Advanced expertise in computer and network security systems, including security applications, procedures, and mitigation techniques.
- Proficient with Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Defender, and Intune.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of cyber threat landscapes, including attacker methodologies and evolving tactics in the cybercriminal ecosystem.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001, CEH, and ITIL.
- Fluent in English and at least another language between French, German, Luxembourgish is expected to be proficient enough to speak and understand.
- Hands-on , flexible and able to work in multitasking
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff;
- Good analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain and summarise ideas;
- Certification(s) including but not limited to (CISA, CISM , CISSP, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 2700, CEH, ITIL …)
