Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
We are looking for a proactive trainee to join our team as a Risk & Outsourcing Trainee.
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 to 12 months
- Prerequesite: tripartite internship agreement
Your role
In this role, the trainee will work within a custodian bank, serving as a contact for activities delegated. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in risk management, operational tasks and documentation. Here are the main responsabilities:
Supervision of delegated activities:
- Engage with individuals responsible for supervision and subcontracting.
- Track the evolution of activities in line with new regulations.
- Participate in the execution and monitoring of operational processes.
Management Office activities:
- Support local teams (COO, Risk Management, Unit Managers) with reporting tasks.
- Facilitate alignment of risk management practices across teams.
- Contribute to regulatory and risk management projects, collaborating with various lines of defence.
Documentation and Operational Risk Monitoring:
- Assist managers in maintaining up-to-date and consistent procedures.
- Develop and manage a centralized documentation repository.
Your profile
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Interest in regulatory activities, risk management, and controls.
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Self-reliant and proactive.
- Collaborative approach with a focus on pragmatic solutions.
- Familiarity with banking software.
Education
- Currently pursuing higher education in Finance / Banking.
- Interest in banking and risk management.
- Interest in outsourcing regulations (CH, LUX, DE) is a plus.
