Financial Controller (m/f)
Based in Hamm
Your role:
Within a young and dynamic Financial Controlling team, your main mission will be to act as a key player in the financial management of Arendt & Medernach S.A. (law firm). In this context, your role will mainly be to:
- Present financial performance in a timely and insightful manner to the management team;
- Complete monthly closing activities and closing checklists;
- Focus on revenues, gross margins and clients’ reports;
- Support business in answering business requests via ticketing tool in place and developing / implementing new solutions;
- Contribute to develop automation and efficiency in reporting tools;
- Lead the annual budget preparation in collaboration with the Business Units;
- Carrying out specific studies (files, clients, etc..) to meet demands of the business.
Your profile:
- You have a Graduate in Finance and Accounting or equivalent;
- You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the area of finance (controlling, audit);
- You are fluent in both written and spoken English and French;
- You have a creative approach in the field of Finance and you are comfortable with data automation and structuring;
- You have a strong can-do mentality and drive to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders and BI tools;
- You have an excellent command of Microsoft products, in particular Excel (data Models). A good command of Power BI and/or SQL is a plus;
- You have good collaboration and ability to interact at various organization levels.
