Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all the accounting and group reporting for the GAM Luxembourg entity and its branches in accordance with the laws, regulations and group requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external tax advisors on the preparation of corporate tax and VAT returns as well as other tax reports in accordance with local laws and regulations for the Luxembourg legal entities and their branches.
- Preparation of the local financial and regulatory reporting (CSSF, statutory financial statements) in accordance with the local laws and regulations.
- Liaise with the Group Revenue Team and the Group Consolidation & Reporting team.
- Liaise with the Dublin based Group Accounting Team in relation to accounting support and assistance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Accounting or other comparable education.
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS required.
- Several years of professional experience within accounting function of Management Company or MiFID firm an advantage.
- Experience in the Luxembourg financial industry and familiar with the Luxembourg investment fund activities, regulation and accounting.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office with focus on Excel
- Knowledge of Workday or other accounting and consolidation platforms is of advantage
