Job Description
So, what are the main responsibilities of a DevOps Cloud Engineer in Netcompany?
Our client is EU Institutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing robust and scalable semantic web solutions, with a strong focus on cloud-based serverless applications and CI/CD pipelines.
As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Design, deploy, and manage serverless applications utilizing cloud-based services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, AWS API Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Integrate cloud storage solutions, including AWS S3 and Azure Storage, to support semantic web applications.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of all cloud-based systems.
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems for peak performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Leverage DevOps tools and cloud-based services (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps) to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for semantic web applications.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and cloud-based CI/CD services (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps).
- Demonstrable experience with serverless application design and deployment using services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, AWS API Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Proficiency in integrating and managing cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3 and Azure Storage.
- Strong understanding of best practices for ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of cloud-based systems.
- Experience with monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.
- Fluency in verbal and written English, any other EU languages knowledge is an asset.
Location and Work Arrangement:
This position requires the candidate to be located in Luxembourg, with a minimum of two days per week on-site presence at the client's offices.
