We are looking for a Business Strategy & Market Researcher based at our International Headquarter in Schengen, Luxembourg.
As a Business Strategy & Market Researcher , you will play a key role in enabling informed, research-based decision-making across the company. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the profitability of investments, identifying market trends, designing and conducting internal and external surveys, and supporting strategic initiatives with in-depth studies and analyses. A key focus of the role will be to develop comprehensive competitor overviews, helping to uncover market positioning, anticipate emerging risks, and highlight potential opportunities.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate the profitability of internal projects and investments through cost-benefit and ROI analyses
- Develop and interpret market, industry, and competitor overviews to support strategic positioning
- Conduct focused research on economic developments, strategic questions, and industry-specific trends
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze relevant data and statistics from internal and external sources
- Design, implement, and assess internal and external surveys (e.g., customer satisfaction, employee feedback)
- Prepare well-structured reports, studies, and presentations to support management decision-making
- Continuously monitor market trends, innovations, and competitor activities Work cross-functionally with international departments to drive and support strategic initiatives
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational background in Business, Economics, Market Research, or a related field
- First experience and interest in research, reporting, or market-related topics
- Understanding of cost-benefit thinking and investment evaluation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with additional tools / programs is beneficial
- Clear and structured communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Curiosity and willingness to dive into new topics and industries
- Ability to work independently, with a proactive and hands-on mindset
- Team player who enjoys working with different departments and stakeholder Open-minded & solution-oriented
