The Account Manager Special Clients is part of the Business Support team. He/she is mainly responsible for the service, maintenance and administration of a ringfenced book of clients, including accounts for the Insurance companies with whom BJBE collaborates as well as further selected dedicated clients. In addition to this, he/she is mainly responsible for the off-boarding of selected client relationships and inactive accounts
Furthermore, he/she supports the Relationship Manager & Relationship Manager Assistants located in Luxembourg in selected tasks related to the delivery of excellent service to the clients, especially linked to administrative support (e.g. performing account openings, periodic reviews, etc.).

YOUR CHALLENGE

Primary responsibility: Account Management Special Clients (Insurance Business, Dormant accounts, etc.)

  • Ensure that at any time an excellent service is provided to all clients in scope, including insurance companies (e.g. timely reaction on requests)

  • Act as Point of Contact for the insurance companies (interface between BJBE and insurance company) regarding any technical or administrative issue and request (e.g. change of SWIFT set-up, introduction of new forms, etc.)

  • Act as Account Manager for selected ringfenced clients (e.g. Dormant accounts, inactive accounts) and while doing so ensuring regulatory compliance in the handling

  • Perform the regular periodic review of the insurance companies and further ringfenced clients (e.g. including screening, etc.)

  • Ensure efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions, payments etc. received from clients, e.g. process payments orders, including the necessary checks (e.g. signature check, account balance)

  • Ensure that the relationship with clients and insurance companies is properly reflected in the core system of BJBE (e.g. housekeeping of client relationships )

  • Monitor and handle overdrafts in close alignment with insurance companies / clients

Secondary responsibility: Front Support:

  • Assist Relationship Managers (RM) & Relationship Manager Assistants (RMA) in the day-to-day work and handling administrative tasks (e.g. support in account openings, periodic client reviews, etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

Experience/Knowledge/Skills

  • Client centric, service & solution oriented, discreet and responsible

  • Relevant higher educational and professional background e.g. Bachelor’s Degree or banking apprenticeship

  • First work experience in Banking (especially Private Banking) is an added value

  • General understanding of the financial industry and the Private Banking environment

  • Fast learning and willing to take over additional tasks

  • Able to work independently, well organized, swift and accurate even when under pressure

  • Flexible to adapt to new and changing environment.

  • Friendly, open personality, well-presented and professional appearance

  • Very good oral and written language skills in English, any other language skill is considered as an added value
