Deadline for application: 13 August 2025. The ESM is currently looking for a trainee to support the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Communications team in its tasks over a minimum period of six months. The ESM Communications team is responsible for both internal and external communications, including serving as a contact point for journalists. Our team works mainly on speaking engagements, digital content creation for the ESM website, social media, and internal communications, and publications.

The European Stability Mechanism (ESM) is the permanent crisis resolution mechanism for euro area countries. It provides financial assistance to Members facing financing difficulties. To date, the ESM and its predecessor organisation, the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), have launched six financial assistance programmes to five countries, provided financial support, monitored repayment capacity, and engaged with partner institutions for programme design in areas of financial interest.
