The sheet piling marketing and sales teams are seeking a dynamic and skilled specialist in geotechnical engineering with expertise in developing and marketing sensoring solutions in geotechnic infrastructure projects using steel foundation solutions. Those innovations are reflecting an ever increasing market demand and set to enhance the market introduction and contribute to the sustainable growth of sheet piling – based services solutions on a global scale
Main tasks :
Development , implementation and follow up of smarter sheet pile solutions for infrastructures of the future , by using full scope of actual and future digitalization potential;
Responsibilities :
- Elaborate on real-time design and risk assessment tools / define and implement monitoring based design optimization ( with the aid of AI and ML )
- Design, install, test and maintain sheet piles and sensors for various projects within full scope of our ABM segments in Europe and outside
- Collect, process and interpret sensor data using advanced software and tools such as Machine Learning / interactive modeling
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of sheet piles with sensors , and differentiate from competitors
- Collaborate in-house / external with other engineers, project managers, clients and stakeholders.
- Closely collaborate with R&D for the development and upgrade of new solutions
- Support the sales team during market introduction and project execution.
- Prepare and present technical reports, scientific papers and documentation
Profile :
- A master’s degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred) in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering.
- 5+ years experience in geotechnical / 2+ years experience in AI / IoT / Digital Twin
- Knowledge and experience in structural health monitoring, sensor technology and data analysis.
- Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python), AI frameworks, and software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and 3D modeling tools (e.g., GIS, GeoStudio).
- Excellent communication, public speaking, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel 30% to 50%.( mobility )
- Proficiency in English and German; proficiency in French is appreciated.
