Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?

The Financial Planning Analyst is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, who plays a critical role in supporting and providing analytical insights to the Company’s Management to deliver results. This position will be primarily responsible for the preparation of the monthly Management accounts, Business Plan, and various expenses, as well as, revenue analysis and investigations.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Building financial models to monitor performance of specific projects;
  • Support the preparation of the monthly Management accounts;
  • Maintain cross-functional reports that involve the aggregation of data from different sources and departments;
  • Maintain integrity of financial data and chart of accounts as it pertains to finance reporting;
  • Support the annual budgeting process and the production of business plan;
  • Carry out monthly analysis and reporting of variances versus budget / forecast and prior periods;
  • Monitor cost-centre expenditures versus forecasts and budgets, and provide controllership over operating costs;
  • Increase the productivity and efficiency of the FP&A team by creating best-in-class tools, processes and reports that lead to automation of manual and recurring tasks;
  • Maximize use of financial information systems and data analysis for managers and leadership throughout the system;
  • Support and maintain IBM Cognos TM1 system and other FP&A systems.

Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Financial Planning Analyst?

  • You have a Financial/Accounting degree/background,
  • 2-5 years’ experience in the finance sector is mandatory with good knowledge of corporate accounting and the insurance sector,
  • Preferable previous experience in FP&A or similar roles,
  • Strong analytical skills, numerate, capable of translating numbers into words, attention to detail,
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems,
  • Ability to work consistently and accurately in order to meet tight deadlines,
  • Factual, pragmatic and metrics driven approach,
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced business and technical environment, oriented to business results and client / internal and external stakeholders service excellence,
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), any other European language will be considered as a plus,
  • Proactivity, motivation, dedication and commitment.
