Our business division is specialized in downstream processing, with operational sites across France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Spain, and the United Kingdom is looking for a Chief Financial Officer.
As one of the key members of the Management Committee, the CFO reports to the CEO and Board members and plays a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, partnership compliance, and institutional financing.
Responsibilities :
Finance
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the management committee team.
- Develop strong partnerships and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure Management by Objectives.
- Mentor financial teams by promoting robust methodologies, discipline, and tools, and implement operational best practices.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout all reporting cycles (MRF, MC, BAR, Budget, Strategy, and others).
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
- Focus on monthly profit and loss actuals versus budget and MRF.
- Deliver relevant analysis for each reporting cycle – MRF / BAR / Budget / Strategy.
Assurance and internal control
- Ensure the implementation of audit recommendations across the full scope as soon as possible.
- Improve SOX RCM and SKC processes and ensure compliance before the deadline.
- Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Complete closed-loop projects.
- Manage IT and digital journey with CIO
- Ensure the rollout planning and cost budgeting for the Aramis project.
- Initiate offshore projects to enable cost optimization.
- Control costs through monthly follow-up and monitoring.
- Prepare the IT strategy and action plan to shape the future of the organization.
Profile :
- Education / Qualification: Msc in Finance / MBA
- Subject: Business, Finance
- Minimum 10 to 15 years experience
- Proficient use of IT tools Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel) SAP user knowledge
- Fluency in English, oral and written
- French would be an asset
The job role requires regular interaction with international business stakeholders. It also involves significant exposure to external vendors operating in the domestic market, as well as financial institutions.
