DESCRIPTION
Amazon seeks a Senior Supply Chain network manager that combines collaborative and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving on behalf of our customers. In this role, you will contribute as part of strategic Transportation Network Planning team (TREND) in our EU headquarters to help design long term network and deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost.
Amazon’s Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between. You’ll help us optimise our supply chains to make our customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.

A day in the life
Being a Supply Chain Network Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving. You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you’ll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.
As a Supply Chain Network Manager, you’ll need to help with both long term strategic and intra-year on-the-ground levers. No two days will be the same. Having so much variety in your role means you’ll be able to learn something new every day.

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Middle mile (ATS) team. As part of Long Term Planning team, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Securing capacity (such as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology), as well as leveraging air, sea and road transport, you’ll help to define Amazon’s topology and transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive strategy and decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

- Support and drive improvement across planning and organisation of complex projects taking a big-picture approach
- Coach and develop others to build a stronger team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
