Senior Avaloq Tester

Your day to day
As part of a dedicated project team, you will join the securities back-office environment as a Senior Avaloq Tester. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all Avaloq-related developments.
Working in close collaboration with IT, business, and operational teams, you will quickly integrate into the workflow and contribute to project success.

Operational tasks

• Design, execution, and documentation of functional test cases on Avaloq core banking platform
• Tracking and management of test defects and deviations
• Validation of functionalities related to securities processing (settlement, corporate actions, pricing)
• Close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and end-users
• Ensure compliance with internal quality, security, and regulatory standards

Cross-functional activities

• Participate in project meetings and test governance committees
• Contribute to test process improvement and automation initiatives
• Provide support during production releases and go-live phases
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and test case repositories

Your profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a tester on Avaloq core banking systems
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and securities processing lifecycle
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, and capable of anticipating risks
• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, XRay, HP QC, etc.)
• Fluent in English; French is an asset
• Immediate availability required
