Your mission: With the growing demand for alternative risk transfer solutions, we are looking for a Data Scientist / Actuary to support our actuarial and analytics team in developing innovative risk modelling, pricing strategies, and predictive analytics.  

Be a part of our team where you will:    

contribute to projects related to risk modelling, reserving, Solvency II analysis, and predictive analytics. Your responsibilities will include:  

• Data analysis & processing: Extract, clean, and analyse insurance and financial datasets to support risk assessment and pricing models.  

• Actuarial modelling: Assist in reserve calculations, pricing and capital modelling.  

• Predictive analytics: develop models to improve claims forecasting, risk scoring, and underwriting decisions.  

• Automation & tool development: Implement Python, R, or VBA scripts to automate actuarial processes and data workflows.  

• Captives: conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment and captive review and optimisation through alternative risk transfer solutions. 

• Market : build, develop and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders in the (re)insurance market.  

 Let’s talk about you. If you …   

You hold a Master’s degree with a specialisation in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or quantitative finance;  

• Previous working experience as data scientist / actuary is a plus;  

• You have proven expertise in actuarial modelling including risk modelling, reserving techniques, and capital requirements; 

• You have an excellent command of reinsurance captive feasibility analysis and setup processes.  

• You have an excellent command of Microsoft Office, a good knowledge of VBA, R and Python is a plus;  

• You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.  

• You are pragmatic, dynamic, rigorous, methodical and precise;  

• You are fluent in English, French or any other languages is an asset;  

• You are intellectually curious and open to other activities in the field of insurance.
