Your role
The University of Luxembourg is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Officer to join our team at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM). This role is pivotal in advancing our strategic initiatives in international mobility, dual/joint degrees, and European grant-funded projects. The Project Officer will be the single point of contact for contracts related to educational collaboration and will play a crucial role in scouting, evaluating, and managing Erasmus+ and other European grant requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Management: Scout, screen, and evaluate Erasmus+ and other European grant requests related to study programs and lifelong training
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with university and national regulations in all grant-related activities
- Application Preparation: Assist in preparing and submitting grant applications in collaboration with Research Facilitators and Teaching and Learning teams
- Project Coordination: Oversee the implementation of funded projects from start to finish, including drafting deliverables, preparing project budgets, and financial reports
- Networking: Build and maintain a network of contacts in the field of European grants
- Contract Coordination: Coordinate agreements and contracts to facilitate mutually beneficial international academic exchange and collaboration between Universities (mostly linked to teaching and education), serving as the single point of contact for these needs at the faculty
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate internal and external stakeholders during contract development, build trust with Uni.lu stakeholders, and assist in developing internal work processes
- Best Practices: Share best practices and lessons learned from project implementation

Your profile
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., European Studies, International Relations, Education Management), or equivalent by work experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in project management; proven experience in managing European grants and educational collaboration projects is an asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and networking skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Luxembourgish higher education specificities, European regulations concerning dual and joint degrees, and management of European funded collaborative projects
- Proficiency in English and French is required. Knowledge of German and Luxembourgish is an asset
