TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) application support throughout the organization
- Respect and handle IT processes : all request and incident via Service Now process and change request / project via DevOps
- Maintain, support and develop the Maintenance and Repair Overhaul (MRO) software computerized maintenance system
- Managing user access to the MRO software
- Provide M&E division users with adequate training and support on the application landscape (Boeing applications)
- Testing during application upgrade and bug fixing
- Creation of user-oriented (user guide) and IT level 1 support-oriented documentation (service desk)
- Liaise with other teams of the IT Department to agree on requirements, levels of service and performance
- Manage interfaces between MRO and other applications landscape.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science or information technology)
- 5 years of experience working in IT and a first experience in application support and IT processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of IT security best practices
- Experience with AMOS would be considered a significant advantage
- Understanding of application deployment and integration
- Professional proven expertise in application support, interfaces and process-oriented systems
- Knowledge / experience of Maintenance and Engineering processes in an airline will be considered as a strong asset
- Understanding of Linux systems (Red Hat) and Oracle / PostgreSQL database is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to educate technical and non-technical audiences on various topics
- Fluency in written and spoken English with effective communication skills. Other languages (e.g.. German, French, Luxemburgish) will be considered an advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time permanent position based in Luxembourg
- The candidate will work in an agile, friendly and innovative but operational Azure-only environment a dynamic team.
- Normal office hours are to be expected, with occasional work outside these hours to perform tasks (planned or unplanned) on the environment. The position holder might have to be an stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents. It is expected that during critical incidents the candidate can commit to resolving the incident to the end, if required.
- A Certificate of good conduct (casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The internal title for this position will be "Analyst Product Support."
- Seniority of the role will depend upon the candidate's profile
