As part of our ongoing expansion, CLdN is seeking for a Market Intelligence Analyst at its headquarters in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). In this key role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on macro-economic data, market and logistic industry trends, customer behavior, competitors and identifying other factors that can influence CLdN’s business success. Your insights will support our senior (commercial) management in strategic decision-making, identification of growth opportunities, and help the organization to proactively manage market risks.
Reporting to the Group Controller and working closely with cross-functional teams of CLdN’s Shipping, Ports and Cargo business units, you will assume the following responsibilities:
Data Collection and Reporting: you take the lead in setting up a market intelligence framework by identifying the best sources of information, gathering relevant data and producing data-driven reports, dashboards, and presentations for the senior management and 3 business units.
Market Trends and Opportunities: you conduct in-depth research and build knowledge of macroeconomic and sector trends, supply chain dynamics and industrial developments. You identify current and emerging trends and growth or acquisition opportunities in the logistics industry.
Business Forecasting: you use data analytics and predictive tools to anticipate market changes and future trends.
Commercial insights: you identify growth opportunities by analyzing market and client developments. You research competitor capabilities, activities, pricing and market positioning.
Internal advisor: you work closely with cross-functional teams to align market intelligence efforts with business goals. You also play a key role in supporting the management team with strategic decision-making and data-driven insights and recommendations.
Your profile:
You have a relevant track record of 5+ years in a similar or related role such as business intelligence, market research, … ideally in the logistic or maritime sector.
You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Strategic Marketing or a related field.
You are familiar with data analytics and visualisation tools and market intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI)
You have a strong business acumen and market awareness with strong strategic thinking skills.
You are skilled at managing multidisciplinary projects, meeting deadlines and navigating complexity and change.
You have persuasive communication skills and can easily collaborate with internal clients, external partners, and other stakeholders including senior management.
You are prepared to travel to CLdN locations as required (mainly UK, NL, BE, LU).
You are fluent in English; other languages would be an advantage.
