Job Description Summary: PayPal is seeking a Manager, Global Tax Reporting and Compliance. This role will work collaboratively with colleagues across Tax, Controllership, and Business teams, to support the preparation and review of the company's quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations. Responsibilities will also include effective tax rate forecasting, analysis of proposed and enacted tax legislation, preparation of local income tax returns, audit support, and advising on business initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Advise with the preparation, review, and analysis of federal and state income tax returns and supporting work papers
- Prepare and review supporting calculations for the domestic income tax provision
- Monitor data from various groups within the tax department, corporate accounting, and treasury to support tax calculations
- Conduct research on various federal and state income tax matters
- Monitor with federal and state income tax notices and income tax audits
- Manage process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiencies
- Provide direct tax support for business initiatives, transactions, new product launches, and commercial arrangements
- Manage tax controversy matters and present options for resolution
- Advise the preparation of income tax returns with local tax service providers
- Collaborate with other teams within the Tax department to ensure all aspects of tax have been considered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Controllership, Corporate FP&A, Legal, and a broad group of business stakeholders
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of current and proposed tax policy changes
- Implement plans and strategies to mitigate tax risks and optimize opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
