Steel Shed Solutions is an international digital platform based in Luxembourg. Founded in 2001, Steel Shed Solutions is now a scale-up with ninety employees and a turnover of more than €50 million. We specialize in the design and online sale of prefabricated steel buildings in kit form across more than 60 regions and countries.

Within the Sales department, the Business Developer plays an essential role in acquiring new customers and closing sales. Working exclusively with inbound leads (no prospecting required), he/she will qualify requests, handle the customer’s inquiry with rigor and agility, redefine needs, prepare quotes and accompany the customer through to the sale. At Steel Shed Solutions, the entire sales process is carried out remotely, giving the Business Developer an important advisory role.


The role :


You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from discovery through to closing. Your main missions will be to:

Engage with prospects through inbound inquiries (e-mail, telephone) to understand their challenges and identify needs that align with Steel Shed Solutions’ product range;
  • Listen actively to customers and proactively propose solutions that best meet their requirements while creating a bond of trust;
  • Conduct commercial negotiations: producing quotes, setting prices and deadlines, applying promotions, upselling, closing the sale and managing order entry;
  • Provide regular activity reporting within our CRM;
  • Relay customer needs internally to adapt the offer to emerging market demands.

The profile :

  • You are fluent French (native or bilingual), and have a professional level in English or German (both spoken and written).

  • Higher-education qualification; initial experience in commerce or sales is appreciated;

  • Knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a definite advantage;

  • You master and apply sales techniques (active listening, reformulation, contextualized offer presentation, argumentation, objection handling, negotiation, closing);

  • Determined, you relish challenges and are performance- and results-oriented;

  • You demonstrate adaptability and responsiveness;

  • You are organized and rigorous;

  • You enjoy working in a team.
