Your day at NTT DATA
The Employee experience and Internal Communications Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for executing internal communications, leadership and employee engagement items, culture-change initiatives, and transformation communications in support of business strategy and priorities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Participates in design and implement communication and engagement activities to achieve global objectives and tailored business outcomes.
  • Maintains the leadership and employee engagement and annual internal communications plan.
  • Contributes to the global scheduling and planning process to align activities and strategic messages across audiences.
  • Drafts, edits and produces relevant and engaging messages, talking points, communications and content consistent with the global narrative and brand.
  • Utilizes company's mix of channels (including digital and social, internally and externally) along with live interactions to reach and engage targeted internal audiences, identifying and implementing new approaches, technologies and innovations as required.
  • Supports global and institute appropriate local employee and communication effectiveness survey and feedback mechanisms.
  • Uses metrics and insights generated to drive improvement in communication and engagement.
  • Champions and delivers global engagement and communication initiatives within business area(s) supported.
  • Embeds and champions good practice and communication capability within business area and its leaders and teams.
  • Adheres to global corporate standards and governance for communications.
  • Performs any other related task as required.

  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to project gravitas and confidently convey subject matter expertise to peers, teams and leadership.
  • Ability to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channels.
  • Ability to manage several programs/projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment often interrupted with immediate support requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize workload that may demand working extended hours on occasion as necessary
  • Ability to be hands-on, as well as strategic.
  • A “team player” who can lead by example, with high accountability for his/her actions.
  • Proven problem-solving ability that can identify source of problem, impact as it relates to other functions and stakeholders, and recommended solution.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • An outstanding writer with the ability to create compelling messages that provides all levels of employees with a clear line of sight to business strategy.
  • Outstanding judgment, with a balance of confidence, maturity, refinement, and high energy.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Employee Engagement / Human Resources or a related field.
  • Certifications in Coaching, Change Management, Behavioral Sciences and/or Human Resources or People practices an advantage.

Required experience:
  • Seasoned experience within an internal communications role and/ or related discipline
  • Seasoned experience of managing multiple time-critical projects with a proven track record in advising senior leaders
  • Seasoned experience managing a wider network and ensuring team goals are achieved or exceeded
  • Solid experience creating and executing internal communications and a track record of delivering solid, measurable results
  • Demonstrated success working in collaboration and managing indirect teams both internally and externally, contractors and agencies
  • Proven experience working globally / cross-culturally and in a matrix environment
