We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated senior business analyst with expertise in investments to join our diverse and inclusive team Savings, Investments & Client Advice. As a business analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, improving, and streamlining our discretionary portfolio management offer and processes following the ING Way of Working principles.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while embracing the ING Way of Working.
You will be part of the Squad Discretionary within the team Savings, Investments and Client advice, which is responsible for developing and maintaining our offer of Discretionary Portfolio Management services and implementing projects in this area. You are the link between the business/client world and the IT world and will be collaborating closely with both.
Responsibilities:
Analyze our discretionary portfolio management offer and processes and identify areas for improvement.
Gather requirements collaboratively from stakeholders and end-users.
Stay informed about the latest market developments, design and propose solutions to enhance our product offering
Transform the concepts into business requirements
Collaborate with the team of IT developers for the implementation and testing of the solutions.
Manage incidents and provide user support.
Create and maintain documentation.
Manage projects using Agile methodologies and monitor progress.
Stay informed about the latest external regulations, risk management, and compliance policies, and ensure that all processes and services adhere to these standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in investments, ideally in a personal banking/private banking context.
Being at ease working in a Tech environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and provide practical solutions based on data analysis and facts.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of French and a good level in English.
