Tasks
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop, implement, and drive comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed company revenue targets within the satellite telecommunications sector.
Business Development: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners to grow the company’s market presence in Luxembourg and international markets.
Deal Management: Lead complex negotiations and successfully close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional value to clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure sales strategies are integrated with broader business plans and product roadmaps.
Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights to senior management, supporting informed business and product development decisions.
Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance against targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications would be considered a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within the satellite telecommunications industry or a related high-tech sector. Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets, securing strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth in highly competitive markets.
Strategic Leadership: Experience in designing and implementing business strategies, go-to-market plans, and initiatives that improve organizational performance and expand market share.
Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage, influence, and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Cultural & Linguistic Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in other languages is highly desirable, enabling effective communication across diverse regions and cultural contexts.
