Cartus works with large multinational companies to move their employees around the world for work. As part of our relocation service, we also organize language training for relocating professionals and their families. Cartus supports clients in over 190 countries.
Currently we have a need for an experienced Luxembourgish language trainer to deliver online Luxembourgish lessons to an adult learner. You will work with Cartus as a freelancer. This assignment may last up to 11 months. There is the potential for you to receive additional assignments.
Learner's Language Experience, Level, and Goals:
- Experience with Luxembourgish: none
- Level in Luxembourgish: complete beginner
- Languages Spoken: English and French
- Previous International Living Experience: none
- Language Objectives and Goals: Conversational skills, day to day life
Availability and Logistics:
- Availability for Lessons: Any days in the afternoon
- Frequency of Lessons: 2x a week
- Format of Lessons: online lessons
- Preferred Start Date: ASAP / Aug 2025
- Hours Authorized: 100
- Deadline to end lessons: 07 Jul 2026
Required Skillset:
- Minimum 2 years of Luxembourgish language teaching experience
- Experience teaching adults in a one-on-one setting
- Ability to customize content to meet learner's needs
- Skilled in sourcing and utilizing authentic materials
- Proficiency with at least one video conferencing platform
- Professional background and set-up
- Reliable, high-speed internet service
