Join a team of experts working on large-scale data management and regulatory compliance projects for a major European financial institution. You will contribute to the optimization of data governance, reporting, and business process frameworks across various departments, supporting both operational teams and strategic initiatives.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Implement and monitor data governance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 239.
- Develop and maintain key documentation: Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), data lineage maps, metadata catalogues, and data sharing agreements.
- Design and support data quality control frameworks, identify issues, and track resolutions to ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects (BO), and Alteryx.
- Facilitate project workshops, gather requirements, document outcomes, and ensure follow-up on action plans and deliverables.
- Support data migration and system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with data governance principles and reporting standards.
- Assist in training sessions and knowledge sharing on best practices related to data management, reporting, and compliance.
- Prepare status reports, presentations, and project documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement of processes through automation tools and modern data analytics solutions.
Your profile
We are looking for experienced consultants with a solid background in data governance, regulatory compliance, and reporting, ideally within financial services or large organizations.
Your key qualifications:
- At least 8 years of professional experience in data management, governance, analytics, or compliance.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in law, finance, economics, statistics, or IT.
- Strong expertise in regulatory standards (e.g., BCBS 239) and data governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to develop and manage data quality controls, monitor metrics, and resolve data-related issues.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, BO, and Alteryx; experience with Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to produce clear, structured reports and training materials.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex tasks independently.
- Fluent in English, with solid command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
