Deadline for application: 4 July 2025. The ESM is looking for an Experienced Rewards and Employment Officer on an interim contract to cover a one-year leave, thus temporarily supporting our HR team. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Human Resources and Organisation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Act as a key contributor to the EU Pay Transparency HR Project by:
Conducting thorough job profiles, job evaluations, to determine appropriate job grades and classifications. Ensure consistency and fairness in the evaluation process.
Preparing all relevant documentation (internal guides, reports, presentations, notes, etc.)
Assisting in the project management task follow up and completion, organising meetings, preparing for meetings and presentations, etc.
- Participate in various strategic HR projects aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting organisational goals.
- Interpret HR data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Maintain organised records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of HR information. Carry out tasks in an orderly and structured manner.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the company to align HR initiatives with organisational objectives and culture.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics on rewards and employment
- Assist in liaising with internal stakeholders on Reward & Employment topics (e.g. staff representation and Management).
- Contribute in developing and reviewing HR policies and practices, as well as maintaining the Reward & Employment operation procedures.
KEY BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree, preferably in human resources or business administration.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in HR or personnel administration, and a maximum of fifteen years.
- Mastery of MS Office Software Applications (particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), PowerBI is an advantage.
- Relevant experience working in an international organisation is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of information systems such as Oracle Fusion or another HRIS/ERP is considered an asset.
- Strong drafting and oral communication skills in English. Any additional language would be an asset.
- Proven experience in maintaining and managing information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
