Job Description
To complete our team in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Credit Officer to cover the following tasks:
- Support and ensure the processing of credit operations and the related administration as well as liaising with management for the appropriate formalisation of credit requests, also in support of the European branches;
- Be in charge of daily monitoring and follow-up of respect of Lending Value Ratio rules (monitor appropriate coverage of credit facilities, send alert to RM and/or formal Communication to clients of LVR deficiencies - e.g. Margin Call letter)
- Analyse and process the establishment of complex and structured Lombard credit operations (life insurances pledges, bank guarantees, etc.) and ensure the follow-up of related client risks;
- Participate in the process of updating the department's regulations, guidelines and procedures as well as in the coordination for the equivalent of the international entities;
- Support the review of the automation processes, in particular for the setting up and renewal of loans, as well as the procedure for the equivalent of the European branches;
- Support any other automation and IT development projects (initially, 15% of role, in consideration of the current main IT project);
- Assist with credit related duties with other Branch’s services (Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance – 10 to 15% of the role)..
Qualifications
- At least 5 years in a similar position;
- Bachelor's/Master degree in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration or any other equivalent diploma;
- Excellent knowledge of regulations;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Autonomous, discreet and trustworthy ;
- Team player and ability to quickly establish professional relationships;
- Very good Excel knowledge;
- Excellent verbal and communication skills in French and English (other languages would be an asset).
