• Local-Global Team Coordination and Collaboration:

(1) Serve as the local technical liaison, responsible for establishing a stable and efficient collaboration mechanism with the data and QDA teams based in the UK, ensuring that model logic, data standards, and system outputs align with local compliance expectations.(2) Maintain close communication with the product and R&D teams in China to ensure that local compliance requirements are effectively integrated into system design and development.(3) Manage the operation team on a daily basis to support technical needs related to suspicious transaction investigations, data retrieval, and intelligence analysis.

• Local Oversight of Systems and Processes:

(1) Continuously monitor the operation of local AML systems to ensure that system rules, parameter settings, and model outputs meet local regulatory expectations.(2) Regularly assess the effectiveness of local IT controls, identify potential risks, and drive remediation efforts.(3) Participate in local compliance testing and audit preparation, providing technical support and explanations.

• Ensuring Effectiveness of Cross-Border Controls:

(1) Promote the establishment of standardized cross-border collaboration processes to ensure consistency in data governance, model application, and system updates across jurisdictions.(2) Participate in the development and execution of local emergency response mechanisms to ensure rapid response capabilities in the event of system failures or urgent regulatory requests.

• Regulatory Communication and Reporting Support:

(1) Act as a local technical expert in regulatory engagements, providing professional explanations regarding system design, data governance, and control measures.(2) Support the preparation of technical documentation and system descriptions required for regulatory inquiries and on-site inspections.What we’re looking for:

• Significant experience in risk management or second line of defense roles in regulated financial institutions with operational, prudential, compliance, and regulatory risk expertise.
• Strong knowledge of the three lines of defense model, ERM methodology, and European regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, MiCA, EMD) in Luxembourg/Netherlands.
• Experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services, with a solid understanding of associated risks and compliance issues.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills to provide sound risk recommendations.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Chinese-speaking preferred. Dutch or French is a plus.
